Incident #4

I came home from work one afternoon to find my wife away and the PPP outside our building. Hastily, I snapped these pics with my crappy camera phone.

At least the car is actually parallel to the curb here. Three feet away, but parallel nonetheless. Hey, baby steps.

Shouldn't Toyota install some sort of alarm or warning ding for situations like this? "Ding! You're parked in the middle of the street."

Incident #3

Night time again. Who knows; maybe the driver was tired when they parked. Or unconscious.

Trust me, there's a car back there.

See? Told you.

Incident #2

Night time again. It's good to know that the owner of the PPP does not discriminate between night and day. They will park poorly any damn time they please.

You could fit a baby between the Prius and the curb.

"Am I close? No? Ok."

Incident #1

Garbage day in LA. I'd love to ask the trash collectors what they think when they see the PPP.

Look at how the wheels are angled. Was the Prius parallel parked? Was the blue recycle bin already there or placed there after the Prius was parked?

On second thought, there's no way the blue bin was already there. The degree of parking difficulty would have been off the charts.

If you're driving down the street, do you hit the brakes, assuming the Prius MUST be pulling out into traffic?
